Why should you make a charitable gift to the Burlington Writers Workshop?
Because our workshops are free and they help Vermont writers improve their skills.
Because we offer songwriting and many other specialty workshops, including short story, creative nonfiction, poetry, query letter, journal writing, screenplay, stageplay, and digital storytelling workshops.
Because we invite established writers (such as David Budbill) to share their work with the community.
And because we share our own work at public readings and through The Best of the Burlington Writers Workshop series.
Because we’ve held panel discussions and special lectures on things related to writing, such as website development and publishing industry.
And because we offer this clean, well-lighted public space for you.
Everything we do is free of charge.
There is no “admission fee” or “membership fee.”
There’s no “fee” at all. Ever.
It all exists because folks like you make contributions
to keep these services available for everyone.
Are you ready to make a contribution?
Thanks for helping us pay the bills. You rock!
If you want to write a check, you must make the check payable to “League of Vermont Writers” and put in the memo section “Burlington Writers Workshop.”
